Welcome to Style Infinity and
Style Infinity Hair Trauma Center!

Hello, I’m Jacqueline Tarrant, the founder of Style Infinity and Style Infinity Hair Trauma Center (HTC). Since I’m a third generation hair care specialist, I’ve always had a passion for and knowledge of hair.

I have more than 20 years experience in the hair care industry, and I’ve created this blog to share my expertise on all of the hair care issues you should know about, hear from readers that have hair loss/care concerns and interact with fellow hair care specialists.
The Style Infinity brand includes a hair trauma center that specializes in hair regeneration and a new line of nine hair care and styling products that provides women and men with the right tools to give their hair a youthful make-over.

The Style Infinity HTC program works by stimulating the scalp, increasing blood flow to the follicle where hair growth begins and blocking the hair loss effects of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). I employ a comprehensive, individualized treatment which includes Low Laser Light Therapy (LLLT). LLLT is a non-surgical and painless treatment procedure which utilizes lasers to help hair regeneration. All of the Style Infinity practices are FDA approved.

The new Style Infinity product line addresses a wide array of hair care needs from conditioning chemically treated hair to providing all day style and support. Each product has a botanical foundation which ensures the best support for long-term healthy hair. The products also contain proteins and multiple vitamins to restore damaged hair to its full glory. The Style Infinity hair care line includes: Give Me Hold Flexible Hairspray, Soy Complex Conditioner, All Day Shine Spray Laminate,Straight & Sexy Thermal Protector, Essential 18 Hair Repair Mask, Peppermint Detoxifying Shampoo, Strong and Healthy Leave-In Silk Botanicals, French Vanilla Hair Restoration Complex, 3 Minute Moisture Therapy Shampoo.

Rooted in Expertise

Prior to opening the Style Infinity brand, I was a Product Development Specialist and the Director of Education at L’Oreal USA. My career at L’Oreal provided me with the opportunity to train the company’s rising stars and develop programs that focused on the latest trends and styling techniques in Europe, South Africa, South America and North America. I also served as a spokeswoman for L’Oreal appearing on NBC, CBS, ABC and the FOX network. My print credits extend to such publications as Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Essence & the Wall Street Journal.

I’m also very proud of my full-service beauty salon in Baltimore, MD. That salon has been my baby since 1985, and I’m very grateful for all of the years of hands-on experience and client interaction I’ve had there.

I’m also preparing to release a hair care book which will serve as an in-depth guide to avoid hair loss and maintain quality hair care. The self-published manuscript will address numerous hair care issues including common myths, “how to” styling ideas and quick, simple ways to reduce hair loss.

What’s all this about hair loss?
Before

After

Not only is woman's hair loss an appearance issue, but it also causes severe emotional stress for most women. Studies report that women have a difficult time confronting hair loss. Women 50 and under report feeling a "severe emotional blow" They admit to feeling:
·Scared (29%)
·Embarrassed (47%)
·Unattractive (15%)
·Paranoid (28%)

·Approximately 30 million women (or one in four) experience hereditary women's hair loss and baldness
·50% of women will experience a woman's hair loss by middle age
·Your hair is at its thickest by age 20. Once you pass 20, however, your hair gradually begins to thin, shedding more than the normal 40-100 hairs a day
·Fine hair is both a precursor for and consequence of hair thinning. Women who experience hair loss have a disproportionately high rate of fine hair before they start losing hair
·The chance of experiencing hair loss is almost twice as high for women with fine hair as for women with thick / full hair

The hair loss epidemic indiscriminately affects both men and women of all ages. Both sexes often tend to suffer hair loss due to hormonal changes in the body. Hair loss can also be caused by Androgenetic Alopecia (male or female pattern boldness), auto immune diseases, connective tissue disease, exposure to toxic chemicals, radiation exposure, hormonal changes, stress and fungal and bacterial infections. Many prescription drugs can cause hair loss also including acne, blood anticoagulants, cholesterol lowing prescriptions and antidepressants. Frequent dieting also severely contributes to fragile and damaged hair. More than 80 million Americans suffer from hair loss, more than half of which are women.

This innovative method has proven to be successful throughout numerous studies. The latest study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology revealed a 93 percent increase in hair regeneration amongst trial respondents. It has also proven to increase the scalp’s blood supply by 54 percent after one treatment and has stopped the loss of hair in 85 percent of patients. An additional benefit of LLLT is that it is effective on all types of hair and scalp conditions. Most patients see results within the first month.
